Russell Clark – General Manager
Russell has been a builder since he was 15 and there isn’t much he hasn’t seen in his 30+ years in the building industry. As a licensed builder he is driven by giving his clients the best possible renovation experience providing exceptional results.
Now that he manages rather than builds, Russell’s day to day satisfaction comes from seeing his clients properties transformed into modern living spaces that meet their needs for today and the future. A good day is knowing that the building process is going smoothly and that he has not only the best team of builders but also a backed by great sub-contractors, suppliers and architects.
Russell is passionate about training builders and currently has 5 enrolled apprenticeships. He is very proud that Licensed Renovations had Apprentice of the Year in 2014 which is a testament to the skill and training provided by his team.
When he isn’t making initial consultations, project managing and trouble shooting you can probably find Russell on his boat with a fishing rod in his hand, and with any luck a good sized snapper on the end of the line.
General Manager of Finance & Adminstration
Sonja Mail – General Manager of Finance & Administration
Sonja is responsible for keeping the office running smoothly as well as managing Licensed Renovations’ accounts and finances. Her ability to handle the finances means everyone has peace of mind that their money is safe and only spent on the job it is assigned to.
She ensures all Licensed Renovations’ internal administration is done, liaises with Council on Code of Compliance and keeps everyone in the office in order.
Sonja loves to cook and entertain. She also enjoys pilates and walking Mary Lou her much loved dog.
Peter Chen – Quantity Surveyor
Peter is a registered quantity surveyor and is the glue to the operation at Licensed Renovations. He is responsible for the costing of jobs and planning time lines on all renovations.
Peter’s meticulous attention to detail means he can put together preliminary budgets based on concepts, and also has the skills to understand plans and foresee any hidden costs that might otherwise be missed. He also maintains the costs through-out the building project.
Out of work Peter enjoys badminton and spending time with his wife and daughter.
Dominic George – Renovation Manager
Dominic runs Licensed Renovations larger jobs and helps trains the company’s apprentices.
Dominic is the point of contact on-site and manages the day to day running of jobs. He works alongside Russell and Peter helping them to plan work, their labour requirements as well as trouble shooting any problems that arise.
Dominic is married to Karina and has two daughters. He also enjoys body building.
