Managing Director
Russell is a powerhouse. He's an energetic team player, a visionary, and a creative soul who's been building since he was 15. With years of renovation experience under his belt, he's eager to share his expertise with clients seeking outstanding results.
As the managing director, Russell finds fulfilment in witnessing his clients' properties transformed into modern, functional living spaces that cater to their present and future needs.
A staunch supporter of young builders, Russell currently has four apprentices enrolled. Many of his former apprentices have launched their own successful businesses and collaborate with Licensed Renovations. Our team's dedication to training has resulted in Master Builders Apprentice of the Year award successes’ over the years.

General Manager
Jennifer brings 12 years of expertise to residential construction, excelling in recruitment, sales, hands-on property maintenance and General Management roles. As a dynamic leader, she heads the sales department with a warm, approachable demeanor.
Jennifer plays a pivotal role in overseeing the company's day-to-day operations alongside Russell. She's a staunch advocate for Women in Construction, recognized with accolades like the Helen Tippet NAWIC Award and is an advisor to Women In Trades NZ. Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys hands-on projects with Russell, scuba diving, dancing with friends, and cherishing time with her son.
Quantity Surveyor
Armed with extensive building experience and meticulous attention to detail, Peter plays a key role in the success of Licensed Renovations’ renovation projects. A member of the NZ Institute of Quantity Surveyors and a Licensed Building Practitioner, Peter is the one who will put together your preliminary renovation budget.
Peter helps all our clients identify costs and save money in the early stages of their renovations project. He guides clients to make the right call early on, so every part of the renovations project is under control and forecasted. Out of work, Peter enjoys badminton and spending time with his wife and daughter.
Administration & Operations Manager
Nicole is our dedicated Accounts/Administrative manager ensuring smooth operations. From managing finances to keeping everything organized, she is the backbone of our company. She handles everything from invoices to everything administrative, making sure every detail is taken care of.
Project Manager
Our Project Manager, Oliver has over 17 years’ experience in the building industry. Having been involved in many high pressure builds and renovations including projects featured on the likes of Grand Designs. Having worked all over New Zealand from Auckland and as far south as Queenstown he has a vast knowledge of different building solutions for all types of geographies and climates, new builds and 100 year plus old villas.
Allowing for a quick on your feet problem solving and solution finding energy. Oliver loves the privilege of helping our clients through the process of making their most valuable asset also their most treasured and enjoyed by getting it exactly how they have dreamt it.
Ollie is a family man, and loves spending time with his two little fans!
